Welfare Association

The main architect of making Vivek Nagar to what it is today is the Residents Welfare Association.  They took up the civic issues and other grievances faced by the residents to the Government agencies and got them redressed. Due to the office-bearers’ dedicated and devoted services, Vivek Nagar gained popularity as a safe and comfortable dwelling area.  The first ever Residents Association was formed by the residents way back in 1991. It started functioning under the name “Vivek Nagar Civic Association” with registration number 234/91. They reformed Vivek Nagar with the help of various Government agencies and provided various amenities for the welfare of the Vivek Nagar People.  Later to satisfy certain norms stipulated by the Government, the Association was renamed as Vivek Nagar People Welfare Society in the year 2015 with registration no 108/2015, leading to amalgamation of the above two entities.
